Legion Ladies Auxiliary

Our Motto is Service

The Ladies Auxiliary is a non-profit organization which supports the aims and objects of the Royal Canadian Legion by assisting the provincial organization, their own local branch, and their local communities. Membership is open to all including, current military, veterans, their families and descendants. We support Remembrance Day, the Poppy Campaign, Legion Sports Programs, Local Charities, Youth, and Seniors.

First Tuesday of the month, 7:00 pm at the Legion, except July and August.

  • Flowers for Long Term Care - May/June
  • S.T.A.R.S. - April

We have also donated to benefits for families who are in stress e.g., fire, health, death.

Except for donations to Command - which are in our mandate - and the ones to the Children’s Hospital, STARS, and the Salvation Army, we keep our donations local as much as possible as we feel it is the local community that supports us. Note: we request the Salvation Army use our donation to help families in our community, which they agreed to.

Our club also helps the Legion with volunteer workers for their functions such as the Friday night suppers, annual poppy drive, and working with them at the Lethbridge Casino. Our main source of income for these services is donations, catering to banquets for such things as annual Christmas parties for businesses and/or organizations, clubs, weddings, funerals, reunions, etc.
